Meet the Team

  • Executive Director

    Sam is a person in long-term recovery from alcohol & other drugs since 2004. He is a founding member of the Keene Serenity Center & has been involved since its conception. He has held several chair positions on this organization’s Board of Directors throughout time including Alternate Chair. He enjoys his own recovery. He is an active voice & supporter of the local recovery community.

    Sam is a New Hampshire native. He is a husband, father of 3, and has 5 grandchildren. Sam enjoys hiking, cooking, puttering around his home in Stoddard, & spending time with his family. He is eager to support our recovery community in a capacity which will allow him to use his own experience, expertise, & recovery lifestyle to support others on their recovery journey.

  • Peer Recovery Support Specialist

    Megan is a single mother of 2 young children. She started volunteering at the Keene Serenity Center in the fall of 2019. She completed the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy to become a trained recovery coach.

    In the spring of 2020, she became a full-time Peer Recovery Support Specialist for the center. Megan also provides outreach recovery coaching services to women at the Cheshire County Department of Corrections.

  • Peer Recovery Support Specialist

    Dave has been a driver for The Road to Recovery Transportation program, and recently completed his Recovery Coaching Classes to become Keene Serenity Center’s newest Peer Recovery Support Specialist. Dave has been a facilitator of All Recovery Friends and Family meeting here at Keene Serenity Center. Dave is in long term recovery and brings a wealth of real life experience.

  • CRSW - Community Engagement Specialist & Road to Recovery Transportation Coordinator

    Todd is one of first 100 founding members of The Keene Serenity Center. Todd has been an active volunteer at the Keene Serenity Center since its inception in 2013. He became a trained Recovery Coach after completing the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy in 2017. In March of 2021 he joined the staff at The Keene Serenity Center and looks forward to helping the community that he grew up in.

    Being a person in long term recovery, He utilizes his own personal experiences to help others flourish into their own recovery lifestyle. Moving forward as the Transportation Coordinator for our Road to Recovery Program and Community Engagement Specialist , he looks forward to walking this path with others. He is also a Certified S.M.A.R.T. Recovery Facilitator.
