do you offer help for people with SUDS (substance abuse disorders) ? yes!!!!!
We offer free: transportation for medical interventions to SUDS, upon availability. We offer free Peer Recovery Coaching, 1:1 or in small group settings, walk-ins are welcome & appointments are preferred. We offer free first aid kits & Narcan kits. We offer a limited supply of bag lunches, snacks, make it yourself PB&J sandwiches, hot coffee, tea, cold water. Most supplies of personal hygiene & care products. (our supplies vary from day to day)
Is Keene serenity Center open 7 days a week? No.
No. We are open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, closed on most major holidays, and closed on Wednesdays from 1-2pm for Staff Meeting. Participants are welcome to come in, catch their breath, warm up or cool down depending on the season. We welcome all who are seeking support for their lives, with the resources at our disposal .
can i stay overnight or sleep at the keene serenity center? Nope.
We do not offer places to sleep, daytime or night time. However, when a person is ready and requests assistance to get the next level of care or treatment, we will refer them to the resources we know of or have at our fingertips.
Participants and family members are encouraged to seek The Doorway, to dial 988, or to go to your local Emergency Medical Service if you are in crises or in need of immediate assistance.
how much does peer recovery coaching cost? nothing.
Our peer recovery coaches are ready and willing to assist you, to set up a time to meet and to offer you peer coaching for substance abuse disorders. They are here to listen and support our participants as they build trust. We offer all pathways towards recovery, towards choosing hope, health over addiction and homelessness.
